Vinfast Auto Dealer

Independent advisory · not affiliated with VinFast.

Privacy Policy

How Vinfast Auto Dealer collects, uses, shares and protects the information you give us. We collect the minimum needed to answer your enquiry, and we never pass your details to a manufacturer unless you explicitly ask us to.

Who we are

Vinfast Auto Dealer is an independent advisory firm based in India. We are not an authorized VinFast dealer and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with VinFast Auto Ltd. or Vingroup JSC. See our disclaimer.

For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 we are the data fiduciary for the information described below. You can reach us about anything on this page at hello@vinfastautodealership.com.

What we collect

When you contact us, use our eligibility check, or request a report from the ROI calculator, we collect what you type into the form:

  • Your name and email address.
  • Your phone or WhatsApp number, and your city, where you provide them.
  • The investor type and capital band you select, plus anything you write in the free-text field.
  • The figures you entered into the ROI calculator, where you asked us for a report based on them.
  • The page you submitted from, and any campaign parameters in the link you arrived through.

Our hosting provider also records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and time of request, which are used for security and to keep the site running.

We do not collect payment card details on this site, and we do not ask for financial account information.

Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide the assessment or report you asked for.
  • To follow up about our advisory services, where you have consented.
  • To understand in aggregate which content is useful, and improve it.
  • To detect and prevent spam and abuse of our forms.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not trade it as a “lead” to third parties.

Sharing with VinFast — only if you ask

Because we are independent, we have no route to submit anything on your behalf by default, and we do not do so. Your details stay with us unless you tick the separate, optional referral box on our enquiry form.

If you do tick it, we will share the details you gave us with VinFast Auto Ltd. so they can consider your interest. That box is unticked by default, is never bundled with the consent to contact you, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us — though we cannot recall information already sent.

You never need us in order to apply. VinFast’s official become-a-dealer page is open to anyone, and applying there directly is always an option.

Who processes your data for us

We use a small number of service providers, who process data only on our instructions:

  • Supabase — stores enquiry submissions. Access is restricted to our server; the database rejects any direct connection from a browser.
  • Railway — hosts the website and produces the server logs described above.

These providers may process and store data outside India. We rely on their contractual safeguards for those transfers. We will update this list if the providers change.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for 24 months from our last contact with you, after which it is deleted. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will. We may keep a minimal record longer where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023 you can ask us to:

  • Give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Erase your data where we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it for.
  • Withdraw your consent — either to being contacted, or to the VinFast referral, or both. Withdrawing is as easy as giving it.
  • Raise a grievance about how we have handled your data.

Email hello@vinfastautodealership.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This site is aimed at investors and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us their data, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date below. Material changes to how we share data will not be applied retrospectively to information already collected under an earlier version.
